Teen Talks

Cork County Council are delighted to announce that following the success of previous year’s Teen Talk events, another event has been scheduled for Tuesday 19th November 2024.

This will be held In Person (Limited places available)

Details

· Tuesday 19th November 2024

· For Transition Year (TY) Students only

· Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island. (Limited In Person Places Available, Register Now (Only 35 attendees per school, including Teachers)

· 10am – 1pm (Arrival by 9.30am)

· With MC; Marie Crowe of RTE. Other speakers include Phil Healy, Irish Olympian Athlete.

This is a Health & Wellbeing event with a particular focus on Mental Health.

The Bus will leave Skibbereen Community School at 8:00 sharp and return to the school at 3:30 PM.

Since this is a School trip, the students will be required to follow the teachers’ instructions and Event organisers at all times and abide by the School’s Code of Behaviour.

You will be requested to inform us of any medical conditions in the online permission form below. If this is the case, please ensure that they have their necessary medication with them for the trip.

Please Note: No Students will be allowed to depart the bus on the return Journey at any time, other than Skibbereen, unless the student is being collected by a parent/guardian by prior arrangement.

Cost of Trips: €20. You will be required to complete the permission form before you can compete the payment. Please complete the form and make payment via the below options by Friday the 8th of Nov 2024.
