Are you interested in becoming a rower?
Rowing is a growing sport, made popular by our own O'Donovan brothers.
Skibbereen Rowing Club is holding a ‘Try Rowing Camp’ for the month of September. Sessions will start on Sunday September 4th from 10-11.30 am and will also be held from 7 to 8pm on Wednesday evenings, for 4 weeks. The cost is €40 for the 8 sessions and if after that you register for the year, the €40 will be deducted from your registration fees.
This camp is mainly for first and second years. You must be at least 12 before December 31st this year. You need to be able to swim and you must be willing to attend a capsize drill in Baltimore Pool immediately after the course.
