5th year students completed the Leaving Cert Ecology Field Study in Fota wildlife park at the beginning of May.
Despite the weather not being the most pleasant, students were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the day's activities - learning as they went.
They were able to look at both biotic and abiotic factors and their influence on the habitat and carry out the quantitative and qualitative studies of the habitat.
The day ended with a very informative presentation in the Parks new lecture facilities.
Thank you to Ms. Burchill, Ms. Quirke and Ms. Pauline O’Callaghan who accompanied the students on the day.
