At our recent Open Evening, TY Food & Hospitality students presented the prototypes of their Artisan Food Products which they have been working on all term. Well done on some fantastic work thus far - some really exciting and innovative products on display. Products ranged from Bagels, Natural Chewing Gum and Banana Bread to name but a few. 

To celebrate their hard work, the next day students headed to Cork where the first stop was Páirc Uí Chaoimh for ice skating and then on to Marina Market for lunch. 

On route home students stopped off at Macroom Buffalo Mozarella Farm, where Dorothy O’Tuama gave a superb guided tour of the farm and tasting of the products produced on the farm. The highlight was getting up close with the baby buffalo and tasting the buffalo burgers. 

A very enjoyable day out!
