Thug grúpa daltaí ón gcúigiú bliain aghaidh ar Ghaeltacht Chorca Dhuibhne ar feadh dhá oíche Dé Céadaoin seo caite an 9ú Deireadh Fómhair 2024 in éineacht lena múnteoirí Gaeilge Ms. O' Mahony agus Bn. Uí Shúilleabháin.
Deis iontach a bhí ann do na daltaí chun Gaeilge a fhoghlaim agus cuid de chultúr na Gaeltachta a bhlaiseadh. Ghlac an grúpa páirt i gcúrsa Gaeilge de chuid Coláistí Chorca Dhuibhne fad is a bhíodar ann agus d'fhanadar le Mná Tí.
Thug an grúpa cuairt ar Mara Beo sa Daingean, ar Ionad an Bhlascaoid i nDún Chaoin, ar thránna Com Dhíneol agus Inse. Bhaineadar triail as Zumba , Íoga agus Rince ar an Sean Nós trí Ghaeilge agus d'fhreastail siad ar ranganna Gaeilge sa Choláiste. Chuadar ar thuras stiúrtha le Treoraí timpeall ar Cheann Sléibhe agus ar thuras báid timpeall ar Chuan an Daingin. Bhí an t-ádh dearg linn le dea-aimsir fad is a bhíomar ann.
A group of Fifth Year Students went on a two night trip to the Corca Dhuibhne from Wednesday 9th of October accompanied by their Múinteoirí Gaeilge Ms. O' Mahony and Bn. Uí Shúilleabháin.
This was a great opportunity for students to improve their Gaeilge and to immerse themselves in Gaeltacht culture. The group took part in Coláistí Chorca Dhuibhne Irish Course and stayed with Mná Tí in Ballyferriter.
While there, they visited Dingle Aquarium, The Blasket Centre in Dunquin and the beaches of Coomenole and Inch. They did Zumba, Yoga and Sean Nós Dancing through Irish and attended Irish Classes in the Coláiste. They also did a guided tour of Slea Head and a boat tour around Dingle Harbour.
