We were very proud of our 14 first years who received a presentation of an Easter Egg today from Ms. Helen Dempsey and Mr. Michael Deasy from the Skibbereen and District Chamber of Commerce at their First Year Assembly for volunteering their services for face painting at the recent. St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Skibbereen.
The face painting was a huge success and gave great joy to all of the children at the parade.
At the presentation, our Principal spoke about how how proud the school was of these students and the importance of helping out our local community in Skibbereen and the surrounding areas at every opportunity. Volunteer work is very important.
Ms. Olivia Hoskins, Kayla Holmes and Ailbhe Quinn were also presented with Easter Eggs for their help with the Christmas Crib.
Well done to our First Years pictured here today with Ms. Helen Dempsey, Mr. Michael Deasy, Mr. Anton O’Mahony, Ms. Ellma Ui Shuilleabhain and Ms. Orla O’ Sullivan.
Well done Annie Hurley, Maeve Whooley, Ailish Buckley, Laura O’Driscoll, Paulina Saniewska, Aoife O’Donovan, Muireann O’Donovan, Carla’ Regan, Ellen Connolly, Su Turkan, Teagan Stratford, Emma Burchill, Leila O’Driscoll and Hannah O’Driscoll for all of their hard work.
