This year transition years had the opportunity to get involved in The Young Social Innovators Project. YSI is a student lead project where students are facilitated to explore social issues affecting them and the world around them. The aim is to develop and implement creative responses and solutions to social needs.

Thousands of teenagers throughout Ireland participate in this programme every year tackling issues as diverse as mental health, homelessness, climate change, sustainable living, inclusion, sexual consent, crime, gender equality and more.

This year our 4D class have decided to focus on the promotion of mental health in teens. Please check out their Instagram account SCS Mental Health for updates on their progress..
