Fourth year Food & Hospitality students had the pleasure of a guest speaker and demonstrator Aisling Kelly on Monday morning Jan 20th.
Aisling, a former pupil of Mercy Heights and now a final year student in the Culinary Entrepreneurship Programme in CIT spoke to students about her career path to date including her exciting silver medal win at a recent European Pastry Competition in Croatia.
Aisling demonstrated some of the elements involved in her award winning dessert - truly fascinating to see the work behind those 5 star plates!
Aisling also discussed with students the different career opportunities open to students in the wider food industry.
Thank you Aisling for a wonderful insight into the food industry and your course in CIT and best of luck with your future career path.
