Our third years recently visited the historical famine graveyard in Chapel Lane as part of their Religious Education classes. Conor O’Neill organised the prayers. All students prayed a decade of the rosary for all those who are buried there and for all those who died belonging to them.
We are very fortunate that the school is located neat such a beautiful and significant graveyard. Interestingly, most of the students had never seen the graveyard. They are looking forward to doing it again. Well done to Ms. Deirdre Hennigan and Ms. O’Sullivan for organising.
