Ludgate Hub Construction Career options for Females

As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th, Ludgate has always celebrated the achievements and contributions of women in various fields. In line with this, we have been contacted by a prominent construction company that is eager to partner with us in our IWD 2024 event at Ludgate.

This company stands out as it boasts a commendable 21% representation of female employees, a figure that surpasses industry standards. In light of this, they are keen to contribute to our event by offering a talk focused on apprenticeships that can be tailored specifically for young women.

We believe this could be an invaluable opportunity for our female students to gain insight into career paths within the construction industry, an area where women are traditionally underrepresented.

Guest speakers will be, Lynda a Mechanical Engineer at Doornan Engineering and her colleague  Lillian a Planner at Dornan and one more to be confirmed.
